Círculo Mexicano de Integración Educativa, S.C.

The great change in education is with us,
as we have a consolidated plan to make your children's learning unforgettable.

CEMIEThe School's History

In 1979, Círculo Infantil was founded under the concept of a Child Development Center. The spirit that has driven this enterprise from its origins to the present day is to respond to the concerns represented by early education, which led to the exploration and practice of new cutting-edge trends developing in the world, some of which became known during the International Year of the Child.

“It is not enough to love them” is the motto of our presentation, which we gradually incorporated into that educational project, with different academic alternatives that, over the years and with the participation and commitment of countless people, today constitutes an educational community.

Philosophy

The prevailing philosophy is of human development, which implies a philosophy of man, of society, and of interpersonal relationships, an academic discipline rooted in experience and research, and a professional practice aimed at facilitating and promoting individual and collective human growth that considers the person in all its dimensions. At all levels that integrates the CEMIE community, the philosophy, operation, and objectives prevail.

Objectives

The general objective of our educational community is to foster a love for learning and socialization, whose premise to achieve this is to experience and share that information through the teaching-learning process fostered by understanding the world that surrounds the child with its infinite nuances and its potential to relate to that world.

The humanist approach allows us to focus centrally on the child as a person, which implies respect for their character, time, recognition of their potential, and the right to respect their freedom. Therefore, we need to provide stimulation and support that fosters their curiosity, imagination, and need to investigate and experience the information they receive.

STEAM Methodology

(Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics)

For more than three years now, we have been implementing the STEAM methodology, which enriches the school’s constructivist approach. Through a variety of projects—such as project-based learning across all these areas, classrooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology, and Maker projects—we support engineering, art, and mathematics. We have also added a math workshop. Furthermore, more than 20 years ago, we introduced a science program that includes regular visits to the science lab for elementary and middle school students, where they conduct experiments in biology, physics, and chemistry. This program culminates in a science fair featuring teams from multiple grade levels.
